CCIT students often have more than 2 Sheridan classes a week at times that do not correspond to the shuttle schedule
Often the shuttle buses are very crowded and even with the overload bus they can't fit everyone. What happens to these students?
Waiting in the cold needlessly + Long, expensive commute = showing up tired = bad learning experience = wasting time
Oakville transit tickets cost $51 for 20 tickets. Regular bus fare is $3. UTM Students already paid for Mississauga Transit Pass, but are not allowed to use it coming back from Sheridan on the 24.
Possible Solutions:
Every hour shuttle buses!
smaller buses during off-peak hours
more overload buses at busy times
More frequent Oakville Transit buses
13 should come through Sheridan, it's still on it's route and would only take a few extra minutes
Transit pass/discount for students on Oakville Transit
Students are allowed to use Mississauga Transit Pass on the Oakville 24 at anytime and any stop.
